While a puppy can be nice - for some people getting an adult dog - where you can see how they are right now - may be the answer.
Typically the owner or breeder is able to tell you about what the dog likes or does not like. Kids, cats etc. You get an animal that likely is already housetrained, walks on a leash and knows some basic commands.
Many of us have animals that we would love to place in their very own home. Sometimes they are well loved by us but it would be wonderful if they could have a home of their own rather than share with the rest of our dogs. Sometimes they were not placed earlier because we were growing them out as potential show prospects and they may instead be more suited for agility or coursing. Typically they could be from a year to 5 years old. If you are interested in being considered for one of these dogs - please use the email link at the bottom of the page and we would be happy to talk to you.
There are also some unregistered animals that typically end up in rescue that may be podengo or podengo mix. We are happy to provide links to those animals and encourage you to contact the rescue/shelter directly.
The APPMGC makes no claims and is not responsible if you don't do your homework and ask the right questions about pedigrees and AKC eligible paperwork. We do not screen any dogs placed as available. This listing is provided as a service.
Cane is 5 years old. He is sweet, gentle, silly, and loves everyone. He is 70 pounds. He is house broken and a low energy dog. He is very easy going and affectionate. He needs a yard to run in and likes children and dogs.
I am looking for a good loving home for him. Unfortunately, I am not able to keep him. This is my husband dog and he could take him.
He does have all his shots. He is neutered. I do have all his paperwork.
